This page explains what happens to the personal data you give us on the ViewVolume website, mainly the email address you leave on the waitlist.

Who we are

ViewVolume is a trading platform in development. It is run by ViewVolume Co., Ltd., which is the data controller for this website. For anything about your data, email privacy@viewvolume.com.

What we collect

• Your email address and the date and time you joined the waitlist.
• The country you signed up from. Cloudflare works it out from your IP address when you join; we store only the country, not the IP address.
• Your IP address, used only for a short time to limit repeated requests and to check for bots. We don't store it.

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and this site doesn't set cookies.

What we use it for, and why we may

We use your email address only to tell you about ViewVolume's early access and launch. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time; this doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

We use the country to understand where interest in ViewVolume comes from, for example which markets to support first. Our legal basis for that is our legitimate interest in planning the launch; you can object to it at any time.

We use your IP address and the bot check to keep the waitlist free of spam and abuse. Our legal basis for that is our legitimate interest in protecting the site.

We don't sell or rent your data, share it for marketing, or use it for automated decisions about you.

Bot protection

To stop automated signups, this site uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your visit in the background. Turnstile's processing of your data is covered by Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Privacy Policy.

Who processes it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and stores the waitlist in its database service, as our data processor. Cloudflare is based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the US. Cloudflare protects such transfers with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address and country until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We then delete them from the waitlist.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy,
• correct it,
• delete it, which also takes you off the waitlist,
• limit how we use it, or stop using it.

Email privacy@viewvolume.com from the address you signed up with, and we'll reply within one month. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email we send or email us. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

Children

ViewVolume is for adults. The waitlist isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we delete an address if we learn it belongs to a child.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only we can read the waitlist.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters for people on the waitlist, we'll also tell them by email.
